UAE residents of any nationality can apply for a Schengen visa in Dubai or Abu Dhabi — you do not need to fly home. WHATox prepares the complete file so it is accepted the first time: appointment, application form, insurance, bookings, financial documents and consulate-specific extras.
What does it cost and how long does it take
Official fees: visa fee ≈ EUR 90 (AED ~360) plus visa center service fee ≈ AED 120–160. WHATox full support — from AED 800 per applicant: appointment hunting (slots in Dubai are scarce for popular countries), form filling, insurance, itinerary and hotel bookings, cover letter, file check. Urgent cases - we start the same day. Standard consulate processing is 15 calendar days; apply 3–6 weeks before the trip.
Documents you will need
Passport (valid 3+ months after return), Emirates ID and UAE residence visa (usually valid 3+ months after the trip), photos 35×45, bank statements for 3–6 months, employment or company documents, travel insurance with EUR 30,000 coverage, bookings. Sponsored applicants add a sponsorship letter; minors add a parental consent attested by a lawyer — both are our specialty: document drafting and certification in Dubai.
Children and family applications
A minor traveling without one or both parents needs a notarized parental consent and a birth certificate with certified translation. If your child is going to a language school or camp in Europe, see our dedicated page: study visa for a child.
