✨ What is this event?

Dubai Design Week — the largest creative festival in the Middle East. Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The goal is to transform Dubai into the world capital of design.

This is a city festival that brings together international and local designers. The program includes:

  • large-scale installations
  • exhibitions and fairs
  • lectures and workshops
  • local designers market

🗓️ Key events of 2026

1. Downtown Design (November 4–8)
The premier exhibition of contemporary design. The anchor event of the week. Here, brands and designers present their latest furniture, lighting, and interior design pieces. A key platform for professionals (architects, interior designers, and buyers).

2. Editions Art & Design (November 5–9)


The first exhibition in the Middle East dedicated to limited edition art and design pieces. Ceramics, photography, sculpture, and designer furniture. Expected participants in 2026:

  • Asateer (UAE) - Waresh modular partition inspired by Emirati architectural patterns.
  • Latina Dsgn — a furniture collection that combines Latin American craftsmanship and contemporary design.
  • Preciosa (Czech Republic) - crystal chandelier-sculpture.

3. Global Grad Show
An exhibition of innovative projects by graduates from leading design schools worldwide. All projects address real-world social and environmental issues.

4. Installations
Each year, large interactive features appear at d3 Square. Among those announced for 2026:

  • «Waresh (Asateer) — a modular wall that reinterprets traditional patterns.
  • «"Echo" (Atelier Alain Ellouz) - a luminous carpet made of sculpted alabaster.

5. Lectures and workshops
A 6-day program featuring world-renowned designers, architects, and curators. There are also master classes for children and amateurs.

  • Entrance: Most areas are open. Some lectures, workshops, and specialized sections of the fair may require registration or a ticket.
  • Language: Events are held primarily in English. There is often simultaneous translation into Arabic, but rarely into Russian.
