For national visas, which are for a long stay of over 90 days, all applications are processed by the German Consulate General in Dubai. Applicants are required to book an appointment and attend the interview in person with all required documents. The Consulate advises applicants to prepare their applications well in advance as the visa processing can take up to 12 weeks.
