- Lease Agreement (Ejari): This is the most common and widely accepted document. Please provide a copy of your official lease agreement registered in the Ejari system.
- Why this is the best option: This is the most powerful and standard document confirming your residence. The consulate will recognize it without question.
- What to provide: A copy of the contract showing your full name and address.
- Utility bill (e.g. DEWA, FEWA, or Empower): A recent bill (within the last 2-3 months) for water and electricity in your name, showing your full address.
- Telecom bill (e.g. Etisalat or Du): A recent monthly landline telephone or internet bill made out in your name and address.
- Recent bank statement: A bank statement from a UAE bank sent to your physical address. It must be no older than three months.
Important note: The name on your proof of address must match the name on your passport and Emirates ID.
